Yes!
I have officially started Christmas season. I am still missing the snow though; but I assume it will arrive when I least expect it.
When my sister and I were still (lovely and well-behaved) little girls, December 1. – or rather 1.Advent – always held something magical. The smell, the colours, the sparkle and the biggest spoon I could find … it was biscuit time. And I am talking Biscuit with a capital ‘B‘.
When it comes to baking starch-free, biscuits are a rather easy thing to do. More expensive to be sure; almond flour still outruns wheat flour by a mile or two when it comes to costs. Trust me however, you will enjoy that extra ‘mileage’.
Don’t get fooled by the above picture though. These are ‘real’ Christmas biscuits – loads of starch, sugar and butter – and I am giving away the lot as Christmas token. (Not your half, favourite sister mine. Don’t worry.)
