I am in love. Truly. The Dowager Duchess and I have a thing.

Or rather, I have a thing for Lady Grantham. Over the past few days I have been watching Downton Abbey (Season 1 and 2). Dame Maggie Smith is an incredible actor and I have enjoyed her performances in a number of movies. But the Dowager Duchess is a different thing all together.

Witty, strong, proper and … well … British. And I love it.

But why – you might ask – would I talk about Maggie Smith on a blog like this? I have been lazy. I WANTED to experiment with different bread recipes, but … the Dowager Duchess came between every plain.

But the exploits of bread making will sooner or later end up on the Sisu Spirit.

No promises on when have been made though.
