There are certain things in live that will get you a feel-good vibe immediately. All fuzzy, and warm, and nice, and HUNGRY. I am talking about stuffed peppers. Or rather the smell of them when they bake in the oven.
And now – at the end of August – they seems to be extra wonderful in taste. The mix I use here is minced meat, with feta cheese, egg, sea salt, and a spice mixture from Morocco (don’t ask me which one. I forgot to ask them to write down the name for me and now I cannot remember. Typical. Anyhow, it smells a little bit like Christmas and gingerbread biscuits.).
And that’s really it. Hit the oven with it and wait until the pepper is all juicy. Takes about 1 hour at 180°C; or thereabouts.
