I finally managed to use a laptop for something other than work. I also managed to do something other than defrosting in my kitchen. Yeah.
So here you can see the result of my endeavours: tomato soup with olives and shrimp
Looks good and tastes spicy enough for me.
- tomatoes
- onions
- olives
- pepper/ salt, herbs and spices
- shrimps
- smetana or crème fraîche
You should start by preparing the tomatoes by removing the seeds (leave them in if you are not that sensitive to them). Fry the onions in a small bit of butter and add the tomatoes when you are happy with their colour (and smell).
Simmer for a bit and use a mixer to get the texture right. Go wild with the spices and the herbs.
Fry the shrimps and add to the soup.
Add olives and serve with a blob of crème fraîche.
