This is a dream come true. Although I have to admit that fresh and (still) warm works best. And it is dead-simple to make, with just two ingredients.
- 165g chocolate (minimum of 50% cocoa)
- 2 eggs
- pinch of salt
Start of with melting the chocolate (in a bowl over a hot water bath). Add the two egg yolk and mix quickly (otherwise you might end up with a delux-version of scrambled eggs. No mention of the taste.)
Beat the egg whites (works well with a pinch of salt, but that is optional). Mix into the chocolate mixture.
Add mixture to a baking tray (rather small, otherwise it will be a large biscuit) with baking paper lining the bottom.
Bake in a pre-heated oven (170°C) for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy.
* this recipe I came across some time ago. A friend of mine mentioned it in passing during a conversation. It is not my own.
