I love my work. Truly. And as a journalist writing about electronics I get to see loads of cool gadgets. But travelling And eating starch-free is rather difficult.
We are going to be reporting from Munich (Germany) soon and I have made a battle plan. Rather than going for completely starch-free, I guess my best shot is to try and get as little as possible into my system.
– hazelnuts, almonds, etc. for snacks
– loads of water
– (my beloved) yoghurt and fruits for breakfast and I guess for lunch too
– then again; I tested German sausages with Iodine when I was last down there … and I can actually eat them.
– maybe some carrots for the vitamins (plus they last longer)
When it comes to dinner during such big fair events, it is almost impossible to get starch-free when eating out. So I will have to resign myself to that.
