I have been experimenting with carrots and honey lately. Turns out, the combo works rather well.
- carrots
- beef
- cream
- honey
- pepper, salt, cayenne, safran, rosemary
Clean and cut the carrots; set aside.
Prepare the beef: you might want to adjust cooking / frying time to accommodate your tastes. The picture above shows thinly sliced beef stripes (but I tested with minced meat too. Works wonders too, I might add.)
Add the cream + all the spices. Let it simmer for a while.
Prepare the carrots – with a little butter – in a frying pan. When they start to get a nice brownish colour, add the honey. Just a little bit.
Serve and enjoy.
