Lecsó is a thick, Hungarian vegetable stew which features green and/or white peppers (no bell peppers), as well as tomato, onion, salt, sugar and ground sweet and/or hot paprika as a base recipe. Garlic can also be a traditional ingredient.

I am telling you it is one of the best dishes that mankind ever invented. Seriously.
It may be pricey (with all the meat) and time-consuming (2 hours plus), but it is by no means difficult to make. If you can handle a knife and a wooden spoon … you are all set.
I finally managed to use a laptop for something other than work. I also managed to do something other than defrosting in my kitchen. Yeah.

I’ve never been much of a fan when it comes to kale. But as of late, and with the help of the internet, I thought I might give it a try again.
This salad is one of the things I remember from when I was a kid: summer, sun, bikini bottoms, the garden hose and a smoking bbq grill and salads. Hmmmm. Memories. As long as I can remember, we always had a vegetable patch in our garden.
Following a bunch of Pinterest post about egg muffins, I decided to give them a chance. So far I did not have much luck with those. Unfortunately. The pictures look delicious.
Leaving eggs aside for a while, I went with mince meat instead. They turn out as fantastic as they look.

To be more precise, I just returned from a skiing holiday trip. Week 3 is always girl’s week. And despite my lack of any skills when it comes to skiing, that favourite sister of mine (yes, I know … I only have one sister) always wheedles me into a cross country skiing trip. What can possibly go wrong?
