peppersThis is one of those dishes that just work. Easy as baking a pie and very yummy. Takes a little patience and time to make though.

  • small peppers (no chilli peppers please)
  • olive oil
  • sea salt

That’s it.

Clean the peppers and mix with olive oil and salt (works best in a bowl). Preheat the oven to 150°C. Place the peppers on a baking tray and let them have a holiday in the oven. Turn them around occasionally, so they get an even brown-ish colour.

Eat as is: take stem into your fingers, pepper into mouth and enjoy.

Best served with a cheese & ham platter. For those that do enjoy alcohol with their food (red works lovely).
